A Hanukkah Story For Little Lights: A Hanukkah Story For 0-3 Year Old Kids: Messianic Jewish Children
It was a special night! Sarah and her little brother, Levi, helped Mama set up the menorah. "Tonight, we celebrate Hanukkah!" Mama said with a big smile.
Sarah tilted her head. "What is Hanukkah, Mama?"
Mama knelt down and said, "A long time ago, God's people wanted to worship Him, but the bad king said, 'No!' He made them stop. But God helped His people win a big battle, so they could worship Him again."
Levi clapped his little hands. "God won!"
Mama nodded. "Yes, God always wins! And when the people fixed the Temple, they wanted to light the menorah, but there was only enough oil for one day. They prayed, and do you know what happened?"
Sarah's eyes grew wide. "What, Mama?"
Mama smiled. "The oil lasted for eight days! It was a miracle."
Levi wiggled with excitement. "A miracle!"
"That's why we light the menorah," Mama said. "It reminds us that God is powerful and takes care of us. And we remember that Yeshua is the Light of the World!"
Papa came in with a plate of latkes. "Who’s ready to light the first candle?" he asked.
Sarah and Levi cheered. Together, they lit the first candle and sang, "Baruch Atah Adonai," thanking God for His miracles.
As the candle flickered, Sarah whispered to Levi, "God's light is forever."
Levi smiled. "Forever!"
And they celebrated with joy, knowing God's love always shines bright.
