Queen Esther Saves The Day: Purim Story For 0-3 Year Old Children
A long time ago, in a faraway land, there lived a kind and brave woman named Esther. Esther loved God with all her heart. She became the queen of Persia, but no one knew her secret—Esther was one of God’s people!
One day, a mean man named Haman made a bad plan. He wanted to hurt Esther’s people. Haman said to the king, “Let’s get rid of them!” The king didn’t know Esther was part of God’s family, so he agreed.
When Esther heard about Haman’s plan, she felt scared. “What can I do?” she asked.
Her cousin Mordecai said, “You are the queen! Maybe God made you queen to save His people!”
Esther prayed to God for courage. Then she went to the king, even though it was dangerous. She bowed low and said, “King, may I tell you something very important?”
The king loved Esther and said, “Of course!”
Esther took a deep breath. “Someone wants to hurt my people—and me! Please stop them!”
The king was shocked. “Who would do such a thing?”
Esther pointed to Haman. “Him!”
The king was very angry. He stopped Haman’s plan, and Esther’s people were safe!
Everyone celebrated with joy. They praised God for helping Esther be brave. Mordecai told all God’s people to remember this day every year. “We will call it Purim!” he said.
Now, every Purim, we wear costumes, give gifts, and eat yummy treats to remember how God used Queen Esther to save His people.
